About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior or Graduate Design Engineer to join our Chester‑le‑Street office. You will work alongside senior engineers developing and improving construction tool attachments, gaining hands‑on experience with real‑world products.
Key responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Adapt existing products for new applications and customer requirements.
- Develop new excavator bucket and attachment designs.
- Collaborate with senior design engineers and cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- Degree or recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or a related field.
- Strong interest in design engineering and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work on‑site in Chester‑le‑Street (commutable).
Required skills
- Proficiency with SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software).
