Justice Services Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced people leader to manage a team delivering rehabilitation and resettlement services across prison and community settings. The role combines on‑site presence at multiple locations with home‑based planning and administration, offering a dynamic mix of field work and strategic oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear direction and leadership to a dispersed team across probation and prison sites.
• Monitor performance, ensure targets and standards are consistently met.
• Act as the first point of support for staff, offering guidance and stepping in when needed.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with custodial and community stakeholders.
• Use data and reporting tools to track progress, identify improvements, and maintain compliance.
• Foster a culture of learning, growth and continuous improvement.

• Proven track record of leading and motivating teams in a results‑focused environment.
• Highly organised, resilient and able to balance competing priorities.
• Strong analytical ability to use data for monitoring and driving improvement.
