Key Account Manager – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Warrington office. You will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, ensuring retention and growth across service, repair, modernisation and new installation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with large key customers.
• Proactively contact customers to anticipate and respond to their needs.
• Coordinate, prepare and renegotiate contract tenders as required.
• Review and agree special terms with legal/QS teams.
• Monitor Schindler’s operational performance and escalate non‑performance issues.
• Act as the single point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
• Represent branch interests and follow the defined key account strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or sales, preferably within the lift and escalator industry.
• Account management experience with strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to influence internal and external customers and follow processes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
