Key Account Manager – Leighton Buzzard

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑driven Key Account Manager to join our fast‑growing business in Leighton Buzzard. You will own a portfolio of strategic customers, strengthen long‑term relationships and drive revenue growth across the independent merchant and retail sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities, introducing new products and increasing customer spend.
• Develop and execute account plans that maximise sales and profitability.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Area Sales and Customer Service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Support negotiations on trading agreements, rebates and commercial terms.
• Analyse sales data and performance metrics to uncover opportunities for expansion.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer activity in the CRM system.
• Coordinate onboarding of new customers and provide market intelligence for product development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key account or commercial sales within B2B environments.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across functions.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.

• Proficiency with CRM systems for tracking customer interactions.
