Key Account Manager - Packaging Design

About the role

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to lead the development and delivery of bespoke packaging projects for a well‑established creative packaging manufacturer. The role combines client‑facing responsibilities with coordination of internal creative, CAD and production teams to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee packaging projects from initial concept through to production for key clients.
• Act as the central point of contact, managing briefs, specifications and order delivery.
• Collaborate with internal creative, CAD and production teams to translate designs into functional packaging.
• Ensure projects meet time, budget and quality targets, keeping clients informed throughout the lifecycle.
• Support the development of innovative packaging ideas and technical solutions.
• Coordinate transit testing and verify that packaging meets functional and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the printing or packaging industry.
• Strong understanding of paperboard, fluted or cardboard packaging from design to manufacture.
• Knowledge of wide‑format or packaging production processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to finished production.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Confident in working with both clients and internal teams.
