Key Accounts Supervisor – Finance

About the role

The Key Accounts Supervisor will join the finance team in Watford, reporting to the Head of Finance. This office‑based position focuses on managing key retail customer accounts and supporting the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger and debtor accounts, with particular emphasis on key customer accounts.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and timely query resolution.
• Oversee the debtors process, ensuring payments are collected in line with company procedures.
• Supervise and provide cover for the Accounts Receivable Assistant during absences.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end activities, including balance‑sheet reconciliations and audit preparation.
• Offer additional support across the finance function as required.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit control.
• Confident, approachable finance professional with a strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a busy finance team.
