About the role

A welcoming primary school in Milton Keynes is looking for a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to start in September 2026. The role is full‑time for the academic year and offers a daily PAYE rate of £150‑£200, inclusive of statutory holiday pay.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assess and monitor progress, adapting teaching to individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to achieve the best outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Commitment to high‑quality teaching and learning.
