About the role
We are seeking a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Preston (PR5) for the September 2026 start. This full‑time, temporary position runs for one term with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Attend staff meetings, parents’ evenings and other school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (including ECT placements).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Commitment to high‑quality teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
