Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (SEND) – Part‑Time/Full‑Time

About the role

Join a supportive school environment as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, providing one‑to‑one support for a SEND child. You will work closely with the teacher to manage daily routines and create a positive learning atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Support a KS2 child individually, assisting with learning activities and behaviour management.
• Work alongside the teacher to deliver daily classroom routines.
• Assist small groups of children when required.
• Help modify challenging behaviour and promote an engaging environment.

Required profile

• Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant transferable experience (e.g., care work).
• Proactive, supportive attitude with confidence working with children of varying abilities.
• Strong communication, patience and ability to follow teacher directions.
• Genuine passion for education and a flexible approach.
