About the role
As a Kitchen Assistant at Greene King’s Flaming Grill in Colchester, you will play a vital part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during busy service periods. You will support the team by ensuring the work area is well‑stocked, clean, and ready for food preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain stock levels of ingredients, utensils and cleaning supplies.
- Keep the kitchen tidy and adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff by providing the tools and ingredients they need.
- Communicate clearly with team members to anticipate and meet their needs.
Required profile
- Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Enjoys fast‑paced, team‑oriented environments.
- Good spoken and written English to follow safety and allergen procedures.
