About the role
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the main cook in preparing meals for approximately 30 people. This is a short‑term, 10‑month position working mornings from Tuesday to Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the main cook with meal preparation and service.
- Prepare vegetables and other ingredients as required.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean work surfaces, mop floors, and maintain overall kitchen hygiene.
- Monitor and clean fridges and freezers to ensure food safety.
Required profile
- Basic catering experience or training.
- Availability to work Tuesday‑Friday, 9:15 am – 1:15 pm.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom (no sponsorship provided).
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided free of charge).
