About the role
Joining Little Pioneers is looking for a friendly Kitchen Assistant to support the Cook in preparing and serving healthy meals for children. This part‑time position is based in Bristol and offers a supportive environment focused on early years wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Cook with the preparation of nutritionally balanced meals.
- Serve meals to children and families while maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Keep the kitchen area clean, tidy and organised.
- Follow Food Standards Agency regulations and internal policies.
- Support families in making healthy food choices.
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS check (cost covered by employer).
- Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent.
- Open, honest and compassionate attitude.
- Passion for early years education and working with children.
