Kitchen Porter – Airport Hospitality

About the role

Join one of the UK’s leading hospitality groups as a Kitchen Porter, working primarily in airport locations. You will support the kitchen team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and assisting with food preparation to ensure guests enjoy a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen, workstations and equipment clean and organised.
• Assist with washing dishes, utensils and kitchenware using industrial equipment.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff by preparing basic ingredients and maintaining stock levels.
• Monitor and uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest ideas to enhance kitchen efficiency.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a kitchen porter or in a similar trainee role.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced airport environment.
• Flexibility to work early shifts that may start as early as 3 am.
• Willingness to provide a five‑year reference history and undergo a criminal record check.
