Kitchen Porter – Airport Hospitality

About the role

Join one of the UK’s leading hospitality groups as a Kitchen Porter, working primarily in airport locations. You will support the kitchen team by ensuring dishes and equipment are clean, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and helping to deliver a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, dry and store dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with health and safety standards.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff by preparing basic items and clearing workstations.
• Support the team during early‑morning shifts, which can start as early as 3 am.
• Identify and suggest improvements to kitchen processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a kitchen porter or similar trainee role.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced airport environment.
• Flexibility to work early shifts and varied hours.
• Willingness to provide a five‑year reference history and undergo a criminal record check.
