Kitchen Porter – Evening Shifts

About the role
Join the hospitality team at La Mon Hotel & Country Club as a Kitchen Porter, primarily working evening shifts starting at 4:00 pm. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting the chefs and ensuring high standards of hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, cutlery, crockery and all kitchen utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, equipment and work surfaces.
- Remove rubbish and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Assist chefs with basic tasks as required.
- Carry out periodic checks on staff rooms and kitchen equipment.
- Follow all health and safety policies and report any incidents.
- Attend mandatory training sessions.
Required profile
- Commitment to high personal hygiene and a tidy appearance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and peers.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures and willingness to follow them.
- Reliability for evening shift patterns.
- Willingness to take responsibility for a safe working environment.
Required skills
- Dishwashing equipment operation.
