Kitchen Porter

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to join La Mon Hotel & Country Club in Comber. The role is primarily evening‑shift based, starting at 4:00 pm, and supports the kitchen team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cutlery, crockery and all kitchen utensils.
• Clean pots, pans and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen floor and work areas.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish in the appropriate locations.
• Assist chefs as required and perform periodic checks on staff rooms and equipment.
• Follow all health‑ and safety policies and report any incidents.
• Attend mandatory training sessions.

Required profile

• High standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
• Effective communication with management and peers.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Willingness to work mainly evening shifts.
• Commitment to health and safety of self and others.
