About the role
Join the vibrant Slug & Lettuce team in Wolverhampton as a Kitchen Team Member. You will support the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality dishes while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking according to specifications.
- Maintain excellent hygiene standards and keep the kitchen spotless.
- Support stock taking, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Help the Head Chef with order preparation and kitchen equipment upkeep.
- Offer ideas to improve kitchen performance and contribute to team targets.
Required profile
- Passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills daily.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience or interest in maintaining kitchen equipment and food hygiene.
