Kitchen Team Member – Pub Kitchen

About the role
Join the team at Blacksmith Arms in St Albans as a Kitchen Team Member. You’ll support the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality dishes and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and production of dishes to specification.
- Help with stock taking, ordering and receiving deliveries.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Offer suggestions to improve kitchen performance and support team targets.
Required profile
- Passion for hospitality and willingness to learn.
- Keen eye for detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced pub environment.
Required skills
- Basic food preparation techniques.
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Experience handling kitchen equipment.
