Knowledge Modeller

About the role

Our clients are seeking Knowledge Modellers to join their data and technology teams. After completing a free training course, successful candidates will work remotely in the UK, with occasional on‑site days in London or Manchester, to structure and connect complex domain data for enterprise AI and retrieval platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct knowledge discovery across the organisation and collaborate with stakeholders to understand data and process relationships.
• Facilitate structured interviews and workshops to extract implicit knowledge from SMEs, documentation, and legacy systems.
• Identify data inconsistencies, gaps and duplication across enterprise sources.
• Define entities, relationships and precise semantics across multiple business domains.
• Translate unstructured knowledge into structured artefacts such as data models, diagrams and semantic definitions.
• Develop conceptual and logical data models that underpin knowledge graphs, taxonomies and ontologies.
• Enable downstream teams to build advanced knowledge graphs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines and AI retrieval systems.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with conceptual, logical and entity‑relationship modelling.
• Proven ability to model complex domains with many‑to‑many relationships, hierarchies and rule‑based logic.
• Practical experience in knowledge‑graph modelling and use of ontology tools such as Protégé.
• Background working in regulated environments (e.g., government or financial services).
