About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic KS1 teachers to deliver engaging lessons in primary schools across Burgess Hill. The role is flexible, allowing you to work between one and five days per week, ideal for supplementing your current schedule or taking on full‑time work. Assignments are with various local schools, offering exposure to different classroom settings.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver KS1 curriculum lessons that inspire and educate.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess, record and report student progress.
• Collaborate with fellow staff and contribute to school activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in primary education.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
