KS1 Teacher – Primary School (Full‑Time Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in High Wycombe. The role is full‑time and temporary, offering the chance to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils while contributing to a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons that align with the National Curriculum and meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and staff initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and assessment skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
