About the role
We are seeking a passionate KS1 Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Islington. The successful candidate will start in September and will be responsible for a class of 26 pupils, delivering engaging lessons that inspire young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver KS1 curriculum across core subjects.
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the SEN team to support children with ASD, ADHD and other needs.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience teaching KS1 pupils.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Required skills
- Effective lesson planning and delivery.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for varied abilities.
- Positive relationship‑building with students and families.
