KS1 Teacher – Primary School Opportunities in Havering

About the role

Reeson Education is building a talent pool of enthusiastic KS1 teachers for September 2026 placements across Havering, including Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster and Rainham. Successful candidates will join supportive primary schools that are actively recruiting ahead of the new academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 1 lessons.
• Assess pupil progress and provide targeted support.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support children’s academic, social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership.
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Contribute positively to wider school life.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to pupil development and achievement.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive and adaptable attitude.
