KS2 Class Teacher – Full‑Time – Start September 2026

About the role

The school is seeking a confident KS2 Class Teacher to join its supportive primary community in Barnet from September 2026. The position covers the whole Key Stage 2 range (Years 3‑5) on a full‑time, long‑term basis, allowing the teacher to deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons while contributing to pupil wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons across the KS2 curriculum for Years 3‑5.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different year groups.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted interventions.
• Create a positive, well‑behaved classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the KS2 team on shared planning and best practice.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Confidence teaching across Years 3‑5.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Flexible, proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
