About the role
A welcoming primary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a passionate KS2 Class Teacher to join its team from September 2026. You will help pupils develop confidence, curiosity and independence during this pivotal stage of their education.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive KS2 lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Assess pupil progress and provide targeted feedback to support development.
- Maintain effective classroom behaviour and a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with the KS2 team to plan and share best practices.
- Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and parent communication.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Ability to commute to Hemel Hempstead.
- Passion for supporting children’s academic and personal growth.
Required skills
- Classroom and behaviour management.
- Lesson planning and differentiation.
- Assessment and data‑driven reporting.
