About the role
Join a welcoming primary school in Colne, Lancashire as a KS2 Intervention Teacher. You will support Year 5 and Year 6 pupils, delivering targeted sessions that close learning gaps and boost confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver three days per week of small‑group intervention for Year 5 and Year 6 students.
- Teach one full KS2 class per week to stay connected with mainstream teaching.
- Collaborate with class teachers, the SENCO and support staff to tailor learning plans.
- Monitor and celebrate pupil progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Passion for supporting children with SEND and additional learning needs.
- Strong behaviour management, patience and resilience.
