About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher to join our warm, inclusive primary school in the heart of Brixton. The role involves delivering high‑quality, engaging lessons to pupils aged 7‑11, fostering curiosity and a love of learning while supporting each child to reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, well‑structured KS2 lessons across the curriculum.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and behaviour‑for‑learning strategies.
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
- Engage in reflective practice and collaborative professional development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- High expectations for all pupils and belief in every child’s ability to succeed.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks.
