About the role
Join a vibrant primary school in Havering as a KS2 Teaching Assistant. You will support teachers across Years 3 to 6, delivering targeted interventions and helping pupils progress in reading, writing, maths and social skills.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils in KS2 subjects.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, delivery and classroom management.
- Track and record pupil progress, preparing reports as required.
- Support the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
- Collaborate with senior leadership and teaching staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or experienced teaching assistant with a passion for primary education.
- Strong communication skills and a caring attitude towards pupils.
- Commitment to start in September 2026 and stay for the full academic year.
Required skills
What we offer
- Full‑time, Monday‑Friday schedule (8:30 am‑3:30 pm).
- Weekly pay of £460‑£600.
- Excellent in‑house training and teacher‑training pathway starting September 2027.
