About the role
Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic KS2 Supply Teachers for primary schools in Heathfield, South East England. The role offers flexible placement options, allowing you to work from one day a week up to full‑time, across a variety of local schools.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the KS2 curriculum to pupils in line with school policies.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons, ensuring progress for all learners.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with permanent staff and contribute to team meetings.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience working in a school setting, either as an early‑career or seasoned teacher.
- Genuine passion for teaching and connecting with pupils.
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to be part of a strong school team.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment standards.
