About the role
Reed Education is seeking a dedicated KS2 Supply Teacher to support a vibrant primary school in Lewes. This temporary role offers the chance to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 pupils and make a positive impact on their learning journey.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver KS2 lessons that meet national curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and tailor support to help each child achieve their potential.
- Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support student development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school events as required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching KS2 or in a comparable primary education role.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging young learners.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
