About the role

Protocol Education is placing a KS2 Teacher in a welcoming primary school in Locking, South West England, starting September 2026. The successful candidate will join a supportive community focused on inspiring young learners and fostering confidence and achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels supported and challenged.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting instruction to individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to promote positive outcomes.
• Maintain effective classroom management and uphold school policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Enthusiasm for working with children aged 7‑11.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to professional development and pupil wellbeing.
