About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a KS2 Teacher for a full‑time, temp‑to‑perm position starting in September 2026 in the Medway area of Kent. The role is based in a values‑led primary school that prioritises inclusion, nurturing and community engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver the KS2 primary curriculum across core subjects.
- Provide appropriate challenge and support for each pupil in your cohort.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about progress and development needs.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom.
- Enhanced DBS check (DBS on the update service is highly desirable).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Early‑career teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
Required skills
- Ability to design and deliver engaging KS2 lessons.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour‑management techniques.
- Effective communication with pupils, parents and colleagues.
