KS2 (Year 4) Teacher – Primary School, Newham

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the KS2 curriculum for Year 4 pupils.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and safety.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross‑curricular projects.
• Contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE.
• Strong academic record and a track record of success in a KS2 environment.
• Creative, resourceful and adaptable teaching style.
• Passion for learning and ability to inspire both children and parents.
• Demonstrated outstanding classroom practice.
