Laboratory Program Manager

About the role

Our client, a global organisation supporting laboratory efficiency, is seeking an experienced Laboratory Program Manager to lead laboratory support operations within an R&D environment. You will ensure services run smoothly, comply with GxP standards and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day delivery of laboratory services, maintaining operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, develop and manage a team of engineers, technicians and support staff.
• Manage laboratory equipment maintenance, budgets and vendor relationships.
• Act as primary stakeholder contact, providing governance, reporting and improvement initiatives.
• Identify and implement efficiency and cost‑saving opportunities across laboratory operations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in laboratory operations and project management within pharmaceutical or life‑sciences settings.
• Strong knowledge of QA, compliance, GxP and health & safety standards.
• Proven line‑management experience, including staffing, training and performance development.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
