About the role
Our client, a global provider of analytical services, is seeking a Laboratory Team Leader for its Biopharmaceutical division in Livingston. You will coordinate a small chemistry team, oversee daily workloads and ensure delivery of high‑quality analytical results in a GMP environment.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate team activities and daily workloads.
- Conduct primary batch audits and review analytical data.
- Provide laboratory support, including maintenance and troubleshooting of HPLC/GC instrumentation.
- Forecast and budget departmental resources.
- Train, develop and supervise team members.
- Act as primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations.
Required profile
- Qualified Analytical Chemist with solid experience in a GMP laboratory.
- Proven experience supervising or mentoring staff.
- Strong communication skills for internal and external liaison.
