Laboratory Technician

About the role

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Liverpool, UK. You will be responsible for carrying out analytical methods and standard operating practices without supervision to a high degree of precision and accuracy, ensuring high‑quality analytical service and meeting reporting deadlines for a variety of samples and commodities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analytical methods and follow standard operating procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Deliver high‑quality analytical results within reporting deadlines for diverse sample types.

Required profile

• Flexible and able to operate in a changing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Keen interest in chemistry and solid numeracy and IT skills.
• Higher level qualifications in Maths or English plus two science subjects.
• Prior professional laboratory experience is desirable but not required.
