Laboratory Technician – Quality Control

About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Quality department in Folkestone. The role focuses on testing raw materials, semi‑finished and finished products, including medical devices, to ensure they meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine testing of raw materials, semi‑finished goods and finished products.
• Conduct compliance testing on medical devices in line with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to GMP, ISO 13485 and 5S standards.
• Report out‑of‑specification results promptly and participate in investigations.
• Support validation and verification of new testing methods.
• Carry out yearly stability testing and manage the retain‑sample programme.
• Collaborate with R&D on new product testing and provide training on key procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in a Quality Control laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP and ISO 13485 standards is advantageous.
• Strong planning, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.
