Land Rover Workshop Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Workshop Controller for our Land Rover service centre in Knutsford. The role ensures the workshop operates efficiently, coordinating daily activities and supporting a high‑performing team. You will be the link between technicians, service advisors and management, helping to deliver a premium customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and schedule workshop workload to maximise productivity.
• Monitor progress of jobs, ensuring they are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Communicate job status and priorities clearly to technicians, service advisors and managers.
• Motivate and support the workshop team to maintain consistent, high‑quality results.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues that could affect service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Confident communication and natural leadership qualities.
• Experience coordinating people, workflows or operational activities.
• Calm, solutions‑focused approach when working under pressure.
