Landscape Carpenter

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Landscape Carpenter to join our site teams, delivering external timber structures on live commercial landscaping projects across London and the South East. You will work from construction drawings and specifications to create high‑quality outdoor features.

Key responsibilities

• Build and install timber pergolas, gates, canopies and decking.
• Construct featherboard, knee‑rail, post‑and‑rail and chestnut paling fencing, including post setting and gravel board fixing.
• Fabricate timber planters, benches, picnic tables, storage units and play furniture.
• Carry out first‑fix carpentry for external structures and perform snagging and remedial work during defect periods.
• Travel to multiple sites across London and the South East and report to the Contracts Manager.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or minimum 3 years site carpentry experience.
• Ability to work accurately from construction drawings.
• Confidence with hand and power tools to achieve a high standard of finish.
• CSCS card (or willingness to obtain before starting).
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
