Large Format Printer / Machine Operator / Sign Maker

About the role

Our client, a well‑established print and signage company in Kingston, is looking for a skilled Large Format Printer, Machine Operator and Sign Maker to join their dynamic team. You will operate state‑of‑the‑art equipment to produce high‑quality graphics and signage while working in a relaxed, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, clean and maintain large‑format printers, plotters and CNC machines.
• Perform bench production tasks such as weeding, laminating and vinyl plotting.
• Fabricate signage, including LED modules and soldering work.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with weeding, laminating, flat‑bed printers, CNC routers and plotters.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to read job sheets, follow instructions and work proactively.
• Detail‑oriented team player.

Required skills

• Operation of Océ Arizona flat‑bed printer.
• HP Latex and Mimaki printer operation.
• CNC routing and laser cutting.
• Vinyl plotting and laminating.
• LED sign manufacturing and soldering.
• Use of hand tools and light machinery.
