About the role
Rapier is recruiting Lasher operatives to work at Southampton Docks, securing vehicles on vessels before departure. The role is ad‑hoc and ideal for candidates seeking flexible, part‑time work in a busy port environment.
Key responsibilities
- Strap and secure cars to the bottom of vessels.
- Follow health and safety procedures while working on the docks.
- Take direction from supervisors and adhere to operational instructions.
Required profile
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast‑paced outdoor setting.
- Previous manual or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
