LCL Export Operator

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic LCL Export Operator to join our growing operations team in Purfleet. This role offers a chance to develop a career in sea freight exports within a fast‑paced logistics environment, handling shipments from booking through to final documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage LCL export shipments from start to finish.
• Liaise daily with customers, shipping lines, hauliers, warehouses and overseas agents.
• Book collections, arrange transport and ensure shipment schedules are met.
• Prepare accurate export documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Verify shipping instructions, commercial documents and booking details for accuracy.
• Update internal systems and maintain accurate records of all jobs.
• Support invoicing and operational administration as required.
• Follow health & safety standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years’ experience in sea freight forwarding with exposure to LCL exports.
• Strong understanding of LCL cargo handling, consolidation processes and container loading requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
