Lead AI Security Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Lead AI Security Architect to guide the secure adoption of AI technologies across a regulated enterprise. This senior, hands‑on position blends deep security architecture expertise with practical AI engineering experience, focusing on protecting large language models, generative AI, and AI‑driven agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry and GCP Vertex AI deployments.
• Perform AI threat modelling, red‑team exercises, and prompt‑injection testing.
• Develop and maintain AI gateways, prompt‑filtering mechanisms, and output sanitisation processes.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to embed security into AI product lifecycles while staying technically involved.
• Provide guidance on AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, OWASP LLM Top 10 and ISO 42001.

Required profile

• Extensive background in AI security, cloud security or security architecture.
• Hands‑on experience securing LLMs, GenAI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and AI agents.
• Proven ability to work in regulated sectors such as healthcare, insurance or financial services.
• Strong engineering mindset with deep understanding of machine‑learning pipelines and data platforms.
