Lead Business Studies & Computing Teacher (GCSE & KS3) – London

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational teacher to lead Business Studies (GCSE) and Computing (Key Stage 3) at a high‑performing girls' secondary school in Westminster, Central London. The successful candidate will join a calm, purposeful learning environment where pupils are motivated and behaviour is exemplary.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and development of the GCSE Business curriculum.
• Teach Computing across Key Stage 3.
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and achievement within the department.
• Support curriculum planning, assessment and creation of high‑quality teaching resources.
• Inspire students to reach their full academic potential.
• Collaborate with a talented and supportive staff team.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE level.
• Confidence teaching Computing at Key Stage 3.
• Proven record of excellent classroom practice and strong pupil outcomes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for raising achievement and inspiring young people.
• Middle‑leadership experience is advantageous but not essential.
