Lead Data Analyst

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Data Analyst to join a fast‑growing technology and media business in London. You will shape the delivery of advanced analytics across marketing, customer and commercial data, working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. The role combines hands‑on analysis with team leadership in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of advanced analytics for marketing, customer and commercial datasets.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert, ensuring analytical quality and best practice across projects.
• Manage and mentor junior analysts, with the potential to grow a dedicated team.
• Support pre‑campaign strategy, campaign execution insights and post‑campaign performance analysis.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects, balancing priorities in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation and overall data capabilities.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience using Python for data analysis.
• Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and deliver insights.
• Experience managing multiple priorities under time pressure.
• Background in leading projects or mentoring analysts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding of data quality, validation and analytics workflows.
