Lead Door Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Door Engineer to join a rapidly expanding service team. The role involves servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing a variety of door systems across a regional patch, working Monday‑Friday with no on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, repair and installation of industrial, automatic, roller shutter, sectional, loading bay and commercial door systems.
• Respond to scheduled jobs within the assigned regional area, ensuring high quality workmanship.
• Diagnose faults and recommend appropriate solutions to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified Door Engineer or equivalent experience with any door system background.
• Proven experience working on industrial, automatic, roller shutter, sectional, loading bay or commercial doors.
• Desire for a stable Monday‑Friday schedule with no on‑call requirements.
• Motivation to develop skills through training and pursue long‑term career progression.
