Lead Electrician – Commercial Fault Finding & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Electrician to join a fast‑growing field team serving the healthcare sector. You will be the go‑to expert for commercial fault‑finding, maintenance and minor installations, supporting a crew of junior electricians across the North West.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults on commercial sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor installation work.
• Provide technical advice and on‑the‑job support to junior electricians.
• Use an electronic job‑management system while operating from a company van.
• Travel to sites within a 30‑minute radius; mileage beyond 30 miles each way is reimbursed.

Required profile

• Strong passion for fault finding and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and mentor less‑experienced colleagues.
• Professional, adaptable and patient in varied site environments.

Required skills

• Commercial electrical fault finding.
• Electrical maintenance and minor installations.
• BS 7671 compliance (2391 certification).
• AM2 certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
