Lead Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Network Engineer to own and evolve the enterprise network infrastructure of a leading international law firm. You will work hands‑on while providing technical leadership across design, security, and continuous improvement of our office, cloud, and remote‑access environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure, resilient LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
• Act as senior escalation point for network incidents and support key technology projects.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure high‑availability and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best‑practice documentation.
• Shape the future roadmap for network services across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven senior/lead network engineering experience in an enterprise setting.
• Hands‑on expertise with Cisco networking hardware and wireless solutions (Cisco WLC or Meraki).
• Experience with Cisco ISE for authentication and access control.
• Background managing Palo Alto firewalls and network security solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud networking, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as legal, professional or financial services is a plus.
