Lead People Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Lead People Partner to support an Educational Support Service in Kent. This permanent, full‑time position is primarily home‑based but requires travel across Kent for essential face‑to‑face meetings with schools.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate the commercial value of people services to schools.
• Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance people services.
• Lead the development of HR policies and employee‑relations initiatives.
• Provide expert advice on complex employee‑relations cases.
• Coach managers to effectively manage employee‑relations issues.
• Analyse HR data to spot trends and improve services.
• Support schools through organisational change, restructures and TUPE.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients and complex employee‑relations cases.
• Experience supporting organisational change, including TUPE.
• Recent, relevant experience in a similar HR role.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (highly desirable).

• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management abilities.
• Commercial and data‑driven approach to HR service delivery.
• Effective coaching and influencing skills.
