Lead Pharmacist – HIV & Sexual Health

About the role

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is looking for an experienced Lead Pharmacist to oversee HIV and sexual health pharmacy services. This senior position offers the opportunity to shape clinical practice, mentor junior staff and work within a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of clinical pharmacy services for HIV and sexual health patients.
• Provide expert clinical advice, medication optimisation and patient counselling.
• Supervise, support and develop junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, microbiologists and other specialists to ensure integrated care.
• Participate in service development, audit, research and teaching activities.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with independent prescribing qualification.
• Significant experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting, preferably within infectious diseases or sexual health.
• Proven leadership or managerial experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
